General Ride Info


BVBC Weekend Rides
Rides start from a wide variety of start locations throughout Southeastern Wisconsin with most routes offering two or three distance options.  Individuals or small groups ride together at a pace that is comfortable for them.  All riders are provided with a cue sheet and map -plus- BVBC members have access to club routes on Ride With GPS (see below).

Rides depart at 9:00AM (May through September), 10:00AM (April and October) or 11:00AM (November through March).  Make sure to arrive early enough to sign in, set up your bike, and greet friends – both old and new.

BVBC Tuesday Morning Rides (May through October)
Rides start at 9:00AM from Beulah Brinton Community Center, 2555 S Bay St, Bay View.  Routes are determined on day of ride but are typically around 20 miles.  This is a leisurely paced group ride.

Fall / Winter rides 2018-2019
Nov 24, 2018- Too Much Turkey – 16 miles
Easy ride around Franklin. – Starts at the Pick N Save parking lot (NE CORNER) on Rawson Ave and 76th St.

Jan 1, 2019- Polar Bear – 15 miles
New Years Day ride from South Shore to Bradford Beach to watch the annual Polar Bear Plunge. – Starts at South Shore Park in Bay View. Take I-94 exit at Becher St. Go east on Becher to E. Bay St.. Veer right on E.Bay St., follow it around to Russell Ave. Turn left on Russell to Superior. Turn right on Superior to Estes St. Turn on left on Estes and right on South Shore Dr. Consult a map for more details.

Feb 16, 2019- Urban Fixx Winter – 16 miles
Ride on urban/suburban streets through St Francis, Milwaukee and South Milwaukee. – Ride starts at La Finca Coffee House (3558 E Sivyer Ave) in St Francis. Take Oklahoma east to Superior St / Lake Dr; drive south to Packard Ave; right on Packard to the coffee house. Park on Packard Ave. (the coffee shop has a small parking lot – please save the spaces for the customers).

Mar 16, 2019- Pantheon – 16 miles
Mostly flat ride through Franklin. – Starts behind Pantheon Restaurant on Rawson Ave and 76th St (same lot as Pick n Save).
