General Ride Info


BVBC Weekend Rides
Rides start from a wide variety of start locations throughout Southeastern Wisconsin with most routes offering two or three distance options.  Individuals or small groups ride together at a pace that is comfortable for them.  All riders are provided with a cue sheet and map -plus- BVBC members have access to club routes on Ride With GPS (see below).

Rides depart at 9:00AM (May through September), 10:00AM (April and October) or 11:00AM (November through March).  Make sure to arrive early enough to sign in, set up your bike, and greet friends – both old and new.

BVBC Tuesday Morning Rides (May through October)
Rides start at 9:00AM from Beulah Brinton Community Center, 2555 S Bay St, Bay View.  Routes are determined on day of ride but are typically around 20 miles.  This is a leisurely paced group ride.

Upcoming Weekend Rides
Saturday, Oct 6, 2018- Dundee Northern Kettle – 19, 31, 43 miles
Very scenic ride through Northern Kettle Moraine state forest. Short route is fairly easy, longer routes are moderately hilly. – Starts from Mill Park in Dundee. Take I-41 north to the US 45 split (Cabelas). North on US 45 to WI 67 (approximately 7 miles past Kewaskum). East on 67 to Dundee. Park in lot behind the Hamburger Haus. Approximate drive time: 55 minutes from Zoo.

Sunday, Oct 7, 2018- Oak Leaf – North – 20, 27 miles
Easy trail ride on the Oak Leaf Trail from the lakefront to Brown Deer Rd and back. Longer route continues to Donges Bay Road and back. – Starts at Lake Bluff Condos (1300 N. Prospect Ave, Milwaukee – 20 minutes from the zoo). Meet in parking lot to north of building.
